As a good tradition, the Enterprise Europe Network Sachsen-Anhalt and the municipality of Barleben (situated north of Magdeburg, capital of the German federal state of Saxony-Anhalt) will organise an informational event and b2b meetings taking place on the occasion of the internationally renowned Hanover Fair. Topics of the event will be future challenges and chances in mechanical and plant engineering as well as automated devices. Other target sectors will be craft, youth education, local and business associations. Participants from other sectors are also welcome. In 2017, also on the occasion of Hanover Fair, the Enterprise Europe Network Sachsen-Anhalt has already welcomed a company mission from Omsk, Russia. This year, the Business Cooperation Centre of Russia decided to support another company mission from Omsk to Saxony-Anhalt. Furthermore, as Enterprise Europe Network Sachsen-Anhalt we are proud to welcome the Serbian network partner, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. This partner is supported by the Business Cooperation Centre of Serbia. The event is a good example of a very smooth cooperation with Business Cooperation Centres in third countries. It also shows the necessity of maintaining the contacts to those business partners. First, the Enterprise Europe Network Sachsen-Anhalt and the municipality of Barleben welcome all partners, whereupon company presentations and b2b meetings follow. As an additional activity, the participating delegations, organisations and businesses will jointly visit Hannover Fair 2018, Europe’s most important fair for industrial technology. On the fair ground in Hannover, all participants will have the opportunity to participate in an international brokerage event, to which already more than 140 organisations have registered. Furthermore, the event will focus on meetings with local enterprises and on-site visits at local enterprises. There will not be a special website dedicated to this event.
